Truck stop chain TravelCenters of America reported a second-quarter profit Monday of $1.17 million, or 7 cents a share, compared with a loss of $15.04 million, or 90 cents, a year ago.
Revenue rose to $1.5 billion from $1.13 billion a year ago, the company said in a statement.
TravelCenters, which is also known as under the TA name, said its same-site fuel sales volume rose 7.1% from the same quarter last year.
As of June 30, the company鈥檚 business included 229 sites, 166 of which were operated under the 鈥淭ravelCenters of America鈥 or 鈥淭A鈥 names and 63 of under the 鈥淧etro鈥 name.
