The U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics said it has released its 2013 Pocket Guide to Transportation.

The 16th annual guide is broken up into: safety, transportation system and equipment, system use and livable communities, economic competitiveness and environmental sustainability.

The free booklet is designed to be a quick reference guide for transportation data, according to BTS, which is part of the Department of Transportation.
