Trucking’s Main Fuel Is at Its Lowest Cost Since January 2022

The average diesel price hasn’t been this low since a gallon cost $3.725 on Jan. 17, 2022.
The average price for a gallon of diesel has shed 30.3 cents since it cost $4.061 on April 8.
A gallon of diesel on average costs 9.7 cents less than at this time in 2023.
Diesel’s average price declined in nine of the 10 region’s in , the exception being a bump up of nine-tenths of a cent in the Central Atlantic. California had the biggest drop at 6.4 cents to fall below $5 a gallon at $4.985.
The needle barely moved on the price of gasoline, nudging down seven-tenths of a cent to $3.577 a gallon. That's sixth-tenths of a cent more than at this time a year ago.
