The national average diesel price dropped 3.1 cents to reach $3.758, its lowest point in more than two years, according to data on May 27.
Highlights
- The average diesel price hasn’t been this low since a gallon cost $3.725 on Jan. 17, 2022.
- The average price for a gallon of diesel has shed 30.3 cents since it cost $4.061 on April 8.
- A gallon of diesel on average costs 9.7 cents less than at this time in 2023.
