Hino Trucks and Toyota Motor North America agreed to develop a zero-emission Class 8 fuel cell electric truck for the North American market. No timetable was immediately available.

鈥淭oyota鈥檚 20-plus years of fuel cell technology, combined with Hino鈥檚 heavy-duty truck experience, will create an innovative and capable product,鈥 Tak Yokoo, senior executive engineer for Toyota Research and Development, said in a release.
