Motor carriers must continue to conduct random drug tests with 50% of their truck drivers and random alcohol tests with 10% of their drivers in 2025, FMCSA announced.

The new requirement is intended to make it more difficult for drivers to continue operating after receiving a drug or alcohol violation.
