A bill that would guarantee truckers on their routes have access to restrooms was recently introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Truck parking is a well-documented nationwide problem, but along Central Florida's heavily congested Interstate 4, the issue is particularly acute, with little relief in sight. 

Ohio transportation officials will add truck parking when possible in a massive four-year renovation to rebuild 33 rest areas at 17 locations in project recently announced by Gov. Mike DeWine.

A report that suggests a longstanding prohibition on commercial services at interstate rest areas should be lifted is being opposed by a group representing private truck stops.

The Colorado Department of Transportation is conducting a project to expand truck parking availability at two rest areas.
