HTI Acquires U.S. Trailer Parts & Supply

The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based holding company said the deal, completed June 1, will increase its heavy-duty trailer distribution footprint in the greater Chicago and Milwaukee area and complement HTI’s existing network in the region.
has distribution points in 12 states as well as three Central American countries and had 850 employees as of July 2022, according to the company website. It is the parent company of New Life Transport Parts Center, Martec International, Road Equipment Parts Center and Pace Transportation Services.
“HTI greatly values the legacy of relationships built between people over the years. Due to their unique position and history in the market will continue that legacy as a stand-alone business unit of HTI in the greater Chicago area,” HTI Chief Commercial Officer said in a statement.
The company did not reveal the price it paid for U.S. Trailer Parts & Supply and was not available for comment immediately June 7.
