Airgas, an Air Liquide company and a U.S. supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases, opened its new liquid carbon dioxide and dry ice facility in Stockton, Calif., on July 16.

Air Liquide, a global industrial gas supplier based in Paris, plans to acquire U.S.-based Airgas Inc. in a deal that will make it the largest supplier in North America.
